Unique Flowering Evergreen is One of Springs First Bloomers

Also known as Mahonia, this flowering evergreen is shade loving with bright yellow flowers in late winter followed by dark blue fruit in summer. Spiky leaves resemble hollies. Thick, woody stems grow erect. The bright yellow blooms are bell-shaped and have a strong scent similar to lily-of-the-valley.

They look great in a shady natural are. They also make a very unique hedge.
